Work Model: Dedicated (CET Timezone, 8-hour shift between 8 AM to 9 PM CET, weekend work may be required)

Job Description:


We are looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer to join our team in Krakow, Poland. This individual will play a critical role in supporting and maintaining a secure and stable network environment for our global infrastructure. The engineer will focus on the operational aspects of network security systems including firewalls, proxies, intrusion prevention/detection systems, and DDoS protection technologies.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide operational support for the global production network security environment.
  • Implement and maintain corporate firewalls, proxies, IDS/IPS, and DDOS mitigation solutions.
  • Ensure deployment aligns with global network security design standards.
  • Maintain compliance with internal audit, IT Risk & Security policies, and regulatory standards.
  • Translate complex port/protocol traffic flows into structured security policy and risk documentation.
  • Implement and enforce security policies across platforms including Cisco, Checkpoint, and Fortinet.
  • Address and eliminate technical challenges/incidents impacting project availability.
  • Adapt quickly to shifting workloads and priorities as part of transformation initiatives.


Required Skills & Experience:


  • Strong hands-on experience with security platforms such as Zscaler, Cisco, Azure, NSX-T, Fortinet, and Checkpoint.
  • In-depth understanding of network security technologies including FW, IDS/IPS, DLP, WAF, SASE/SSE.
  • Experience with principal network vendors including Cisco, Fortinet, VMware, Citrix, and F5.
  • Proficient in enterprise network tools and security solutions.
  • Solid grasp of ITIL, ITSM, and industry best practices.
  • Experience working in hybrid/cloud environments and understanding of major cloud providers’ security models.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex networking issues and provide timely resolutions.
