Data Analyst

Are you ready to make a significant impact in the world of data analytics and business intelligence? We are seeking a talented Data Analyst to become a vital part of our dynamic Data Assets, Analytics, and AI Platform at Bayer IT. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing critical data across market, finance, and product supply domains to support our innovative initiatives.

Our diverse, international team is dedicated to harnessing the power of data to drive informed decision-making and enhance product performance. We pride ourselves on delivering insights that leverage advanced analytics and visualization tools, all powered by a modern tech stack featuring Azure Databricks and Snowflake. Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Partner with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand product objectives and requirements.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals and deliverables.
• Analyze complex data sets to extract actionable insights that inform product development and enhancement.
• Leverage business knowledge to provide context and recommendations that enhance product strategy.
• Apply insights and relevant data to help the product team enhance existing features and develop new ones.
• Create, support, and replicate scalable data structures, including table creation, reporting, and data visualizations to meet team needs.
• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify root causes, uncover interdependencies, forecast trends, and provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate closely with the analytics lead and stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business needs.
• Extract, clean, and analyze data from various source systems to ensure high-quality, accurate reporting.
• Identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights to help stakeholders make data-driven decisions.
• Document processes, KPIs, and data models to foster knowledge sharing and team alignment.
  
  

Qualifications and Competencies:

• Master’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Strong knowledge of data manipulation and analysis using Azure Databricks and Snowflake.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and understandable manner.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
