If you have had a long held an ambition to use your construction and property related experiences and step into a career in Property Development, but not yet been given the opportunity to step into the new sector - this could be for you!

This 12 month fixed term contract is the idea opportunity stepping stone to take your current experiences (construction/property/engineering related), and transition into Property Development career. You will work closely with a highly regarded Construction and Property Developer, in what will be a fast-tracked learning experience, in a real world environment!

The Role

Initially, you will be site based (Western Sydney), working within the Superintendent team, administering the contract and supporting the progress of a $100M industrial D&C building project.

In addition, you will be supporting your new employer with the full lifecycle of their current project development pipeline - from a 80+ Unit mixed use project North of Sydney, through to Multi-res apartments projects in both NSW and Victoria - gaining the skills, knowledge and techniques to take projects from acquisition, through to completion.

Consider this a hybrid role, utilising your existing Contract Administration skills, but gaining a detailed understanding of the Property Development process - working under the close supervision of a 35 year veteran of the Construction & Development Industry.

What We're Seeking From You

This is likely to be a highly attractive role to those of you who have been looking to step into Property Development, so to give you idea of what we are seeking, you:

• Must have some relevant, transferable construction/property/engineering or Architectural experience - and have a long held ambition to become a Property Developer - likely at least 5 years post graduate (construction and property related qualification) experience
• Comfortable challenging yourself within a new field of the industry, in what will be, a full-on learning experience
• Well-suited for candidates with a level of maturity and confidence to build a career in Property Development
• Must have great verbal and written communication skills
