My client is currently recruiting for an Analytics Engineer to join the team on a contract or permanent basis and this role can be remote or hybrid. The Analytics Engineer will take a product concept or business use case and independently build scalable, high-impact analytics solutions and will be part of a cross-functional engineering team, working closely with analytics and product stakeholders to develop data-driven solutions in real time.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain analytical workflows using SQL, Tableau, and cloud-based data platforms.
- Translate complex business needs into efficient data models and insightful dashboards.
- Prioritize scalability, performance, and reusability across all solutions.
- Collaborate with product owners, data specialists, and engineering teams.
- Provide detailed documentation and support for analytics solutions, including performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Workflows are designed using SQL, modern database technologies, and Tableau to deliver actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and enhance operational performance.
Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or similar technical roles.
- Advanced SQL skills, particularly in cloud environments like AWS, Postgres, or Redshift.
- Strong experience managing and optimizing cloud-based databases.
- Deep expertise with Tableau Desktop and experience creating sophisticated dashboards.
- Current Tableau certification.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, or AI-powered analytics tools.
- Knowledge of Tableau Server environments.
- Portfolio of publicly available Tableau work.
- Background in technical industries such as telecommunications or software.
