We are looking for a brilliant and tech-savvy Financial Data Analyst Trainee to join our Milan HQ. The Financial Data Analyst Trainee will support the FP&A team in ensuring accurate financial and operational data management through advanced reporting, dashboarding, and analytics. He/she will contribute to transforming data into actionable insights to support strategic decisions.

Do you match this profile?

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in Business Analytics and Big Data, possibly with Finance and Economics insights
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI; Programing in Python (Pandas, NumPy); experience with ERP systems (SAP) is a strong plus.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a structured and data-driven mindset
  • Previous experience (or internship) in FP&A, Data Analysis, or similar finance roles with strong exposure to data tools is a strong plus
  • Ability to manage large datasets and extract business insights through data visualization and storytelling
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written); Italian is a plus.

What do we expect from you?

  • Contribute to the automation and digitalization of FP&A processes, improving efficiency and data accuracy through data modeling, automated reports and dashboard creation
  • Deliver ad hoc and structured analysis leveraging data science techniques to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
