Your Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a BI Expert & Data Analyst with a passion for data and a talent for creating insightful visualizations. More concretely you will:

• Play a key role in interpreting data, developing BI visualizations, and delivering key insights to EY's accountants and clients:
• craft data models that generate essential business KPIs;
• Drive innovation and enhance data flow efficiency;
• Tackle ETL tasks, establish connections with various data sources, and maintain a clear data structure to unlock the full potential of our data;
• Initially focus on maintaining and optimizing our existing Power BI reporting, while also developing new and impactful data visualizations. You'll be working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment within an international team and play a crucial role in developing cutting-edge reporting for multiple stakeholders.
  
  

Your Profile

• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, finance, IT, or a related field;
• You have 1 – 3 years of experience as a BI analyst or data scientist, or you're a recent graduate eager to dive into data models and visualizations;

• You are familiar with Power BI and know what it takes to set-up an ETL;
• You have experience with Power Automate and Microsoft Co-pilot;
• You are skilled in connecting Power BI to various data sources (SQL, XML, JSON, API, etc), you can establish and maintain a semantic model in Power BI;
• You are IT-minded or have a strong interest in technology, automation and innovation.
• You understand the need for documentation and are prepared to set-up a high-quality documentation so colleagues can easily continue with your work.
• You are fluent in English and French or Dutch, but you understand all three languages;
• You are keen to further develop:
• Technical knowledge in Power BI
• ETL tools and transforming data to a suitable model
• Business and data analysis, optimization, and strategic thinking
• Exploring AI applications in BI
• You have an Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with a focus on innovation.
