Your role and responsibilities

ABB's Electrification business has always been at the forefront of innovative electrification and today is writing the future of sustainable, safe and smart electrification.

As a Junior Software Developer you will work on data base back-end development to support life cycle assessment (LCA) calculations for ABB products. As a part of Sustainability Competence Center you will utilize your knowledge and skills to support ABB in relentless endeavors to reduce the impact of its activities and products on the environment.

Your responsibilities:

• Development of data base back-end server logic and algorithms
• Writing REST API services.
• Unit testing the back-end code
• Support in data base architecture development
• Support in front-end development
• Support in data analysis and processing
  
  

Work model: hybrid

Qualifications for the role

• Engineering degree of IT related faculty.
• Good knowledge of Python, FastAPI framework and REST API principles
• Knowledge of any SQL Server and SQL language
• Familiarity with Git and Docker
• Basic knowledge of JS/TS and React framework
• Strong quantitative or technical background with an excellent aptitude for analytical thinking. Natural curiosity to investigate issues, conduct research, design solutions and translate results into business practices.
• Good written and spoken communication skills in English.
• An interest in environmental science will be an advantage.
