Senior .NET Developer

Mission:

As a Senior .NET Developer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and ongoing support of essential digital services for a highly respected Bank in Brussels. Working in a collaborative Agile team and guided by a technical project lead, you'll support various software modules in alignment with MAP7 policies. The role is a 12 month rolling contract and split between remote working and onsite with the client.

Applicants must be able to speak Dutch fluently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain sophisticated .NET applications.
• Take the lead in technical discussions, mentor junior team members, and coordinate development efforts.
• Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions within an Agile Scrum environment.
• Collaborate with architects and business analysts to ensure alignment with VLM’s system and business architecture.
• Deliver high-quality, well-documented code and actively participate in knowledge sharing.
• Offer technical expertise during review and feedback sessions.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Solid hands-on experience with .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core (5/6/8), and .NET Framework 4.8.
• Demonstrated leadership in software development and mentoring of developers.
• Strong understanding of Agile development principles and related tools.
• Proficiency in Dutch (CEFR level C2) – required.
• Ability to write clean, efficient, testable, and secure code.
• Knowledge of agricultural legislation and digital transformation is a plus.
