We are looking for experienced .Net Software Developers to join our growing B2B FinTech business in Dublin.

You will be developing Broadridge's Fund Communication Solutions, a global digital platform that supports data, documents and regulatory reporting needs for the investment industry.

Role Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining and extending .Net Web and Windows applications in a collaborative and supportive fast-paced agile development environment creating the next generation of innovative applications and services for the funds industry.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements
  • Adhere to good design practices and ensure standards are maintained as part of code reviews to ensure secure, robust, maintainable, scalable and extendable applications.
  • Create wireframes and deliver quality software
  • Ability to assist in testing of applications, ensuring software quality and excellence of UI \ UX design is maintained to the highest standards.
  • Work as part of an agile (scrum) multi-functional systems development team.
  • Conduct operations support activities and trouble shooting to support the business.
  • Working on a variety of projects and different technologies simultaneously
  • Working on all aspects of the implementation including database, back-end logic and UI

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in C#/VB.NET, JavaScript, TSQL
  • Ability to communicate and work well with stakeholders internally
  • Ability to work as part of a scum team and participate in peer programming
  • Knowledge of some of the following: of Design Patterns, SOLID principles, Inversion of Control and RESTful Web Services
  • Experience in some of the following: MVC, WebAPI, .NET Core, HTML5, CSS3, Entity Framework, Entity Framework Core, and ASP.NET Web Forms
  • Good standard of English
  • Eligible to work in the United Kingdom

Desirable Experience:

  • Some of the following JavaScript libraries or frameworks: jQuery, VueJs, TypeScript
  • TDD, designing and writing unit tests
  • Writing, maintaining and tuning SQL Server stored procedures.
  • Some experience with or knowledge of UX best practices
  • Some experience with or knowledge of web security best practices
