Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-project technical consulting, including effort estimation for new features and products.
• Design and maintain scalable architectures for AI product frameworks covering edge, cloud, and on-premise environments.
• Define training, validation, testing, and operation processes for algorithms within microservice frameworks.
• Plan technical product strategy and microservice interactions, including integration with non-AI services.
• Leverage synergies across products to ensure architectural and operational efficiency.
• Define coding standards and support self-service enablement.
• Scout emerging technologies and conceptual trends relevant to AI.
• Collaborate closely with shared service teams (e.g., IT infrastructure).

Required Competencies:

• Deep understanding of AI design patterns and immediate implementation.
• Strong knowledge of data processing for AI microservices.
• Solid technical foundation in machine learning, statistics, and Generative AI.
• Proven experience with modern software development and microservice frameworks.
• Expertise in AI-related technology landscapes (Classical & Generative).
• RRPS infrastructure and interface knowledge is a plus.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
