Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Sydney, NSW. The Senior Java Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications. Day-to-day tasks include coding in Java, working with the Spring Framework, developing microservices, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness of the applications.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Java Programming and Software Development
- Experience with Microservices architecture and development
- Proficiency in the Spring Framework
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience in cloud computing and data technologies is a plus

Job Description-
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Java and Spring Boot.
- Proven experience with Apache Kafka for building real-time data pipelines and streaming applications.
- Extensive experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda).
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Proficiency in working with Cassandra or other NoSQL databases.
- Strong understanding of software development best practices, including code reviews, testing, and CI/CD.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
