Network Security Analyst

We are looking for a Network Security Analyst for a project based in Oporto or Lisbon (hybrid)!

Responsibilities:

• Manage and configure firewalls, acting as part of the team driving digital transformation of network and security infrastructure.
• Operate, maintain, and manage equipment within the data center to ensure consistent uptime and security.
• Oversee the daily management of ANA's primary Fortinet infrastructure.
• Provide consultative support as requested for local or newly acquired infrastructure.
• Maintain updated records for all managed and supported infrastructure.
• Respond promptly to configuration change requests from the Cybersecurity team.
• Initiate support escalation to Tier 3 (manufacturer support) as needed.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field;
• Minimum 4 years of experience in similar roles.
• Experience in Fortinet Firewall management and implementation.
• Strong knowledge in network configuration, including static and dynamic routing (BGP, OSPF), on Fortinet devices.
• Proficiency in managing Fortinet infrastructure with skills in QoS, Shaping, and web application publishing.
• Experience with VPN management, including SSL VPN for users and IPSec Site-to-Site VPNs.
• Analytical skills for troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Familiarity with SD-WAN configurations.
• Experience in defining firmware upgrade plans per manufacturer recommendations.
• Ability to suggest infrastructure improvements and enhancements (engineering mindset).
• Fluency in English.
