We are hiring a Sr. Robotics Engineer!

Mission

As a Sr. Robotics Engineer, you will report to the Software Development Director, and you will be responsible for developing critical control systems for drive-by-wire electric vehicles teleoperation with autonomous driving capabilities. This includes enhancing vehicle control interfaces, optimizing communication protocols, and ensuring the safety and reliability of software used in the vehicle's control system.

Main Responsibilities/Challenges:

• Development of the control system for the drive-by-wire electric vehicle.
• Design and enhance the driver control interface, ensuring intuitive and efficient operation.
• Develop, configure, and optimize communication protocols between vehicle subsystems, ensuring reliable data transfer.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure the integration of safety-critical systems.
• Perform extensive testing of the robotic control systems, with a focus on real-time performance and robustness.
• Generate and maintain technical documentation for system design, testing procedures, and integration steps.
• Participate in system validation and verification processes, ensuring compliance with industry safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262).
• Contribute to continuous improvement of system architecture and software performance.
• Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience in robotics, embedded systems, or automotive software development, with a focus on safety-critical applications.

Specific Knowledge

• Strong expertise in robotics, embedded systems, and safety-critical software development.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C and C++.
• Familiarity with communication protocols like CAN or Ethernet and publish-subscribe communication protocols like DDS, MQTT or ROS.

Languages:

• English: At least B2.
• Spanish: At least C1.
