About you:
Joining our Not for Profit and Education (NPE) Software Engineering team as a Senior Engineer providing SaaS solutions to Education and Not For Profit sectors. Work with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and lead specific streams of work to ensure project milestones are met efficiently and effectively.
Day-to-day, you will:
• Writes clear & self-documenting code, organises methods and classes appropriately. Able to refactor existing code to improve readability. Good understanding of technical and commercial drivers when making decisions on refactoring. Actively contribute to requirements discussions and requirements analysis, and take responsibility for understanding scope, risk and complexity of changes
• Analyze, identify and fix root cause of defects throughout the various layers of an application.
• Consistent participation in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
As a well-rounded Senior Software Engineer, your Skills and Experiences likely include:
• Proficient in PHP: Building high-quality software using Laravel on Linux, with MySQL.
• SPA Framework: Knowledge of React and familiarity with HTML/JS/CSS.
