The Metrology & Validation team are responsible for the maintenance, qualification and validation of laboratory analytical instruments and equipment in multiple laboratories and departments at MSD Schachen. Metrology projects include instrument/equipment purchase, qualification/validation, and new software implementation.

We require an experienced Project Manager for a six month project to support the planning, readiness, and track execution of team projects.

Job tasks and responsibilities

• Preparation and management of project schedules for Metrology projects, including instrument/equipment qualification and new software implementation
• Routine preparation of project status updates for key stakeholders
• In coordination with US Metrology teams, develop and management of standard work templates for routine projects and implementation of a standardized project prioritization process ·

Requirements for the position:

• Degree or certification in project management
• Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous
• SDLC experience
• Experience with MS Project, Smart sheets, Power Project or other project management software is required
• Language requirements - English, minimum C1 level
