Information Security Systems Specialist

The Ministry of Culture (MOC), based in Abu Dhabi, is seeking an experienced Information Security Systems Specialist to join their team within the Digital Transformation Department. A successful candidate must be a professional with hands-on experience in conducting risk assessments, managing identity and access controls, developing security policies, overseeing incident response, and implementing training programs to enhance organizational security and compliance. Strong bilingual communication skills in Arabic and English are essential for effective engagement with government entities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments of potential information security risks
• Manage identity and access controls, implement PAM solutions to secure accounts, and ensure effective control in Azure Active Directory through MFA and PIM
• Manage the cyber threat log with the cybersecurity team by effectively assessing and managing it, with regular follow-ups to ensure the systematic closure of security vulnerabilities
• Manage and maintain security infrastructure systems, ensuring they are updated and protected from vulnerabilities to guarantee the highest levels of security
• Prepare a report for management on the status of information security, providing suggestions for improvement
• Supervise the operational risk log in coordination with the risk team in the internal audit office to ensure effective assessment, systematic management, and efficient closure
• Contribute to the development of security policies and procedures to protect information and monitor their implementation
• Contribute to the formulation and updating of security strategies for the organization to address modern challenges in the field of information security
• Participate in planning security incident response and managing response operations
• Develop and implement awareness programs for all employees regarding information security and cybersecurity issues
• Implement business continuity and disaster recovery plans in coordination with relevant parties to ensure crisis readiness and the continuity of operations efficiently and safely
• Ensure that information security procedures comply as much as possible with the information security regulations imposed by official authorities, which are audited annually
• Monitor the performance of security strategies and evaluate them periodically
• Keep up with new technologies and trends in information security and apply them in accordance with management expectations
