Charterhouse is working with a global logistics company that is looking to hire an IT Helpdesk Specialist for their Dubai branch.
This is a great opportunity to be part of a growing organisation working on some very interesting projects. The ICT Helpdesk Specialist will be responsible for providing 1st, 2nd and 3rd line technical support to all employees (50 end-users) in Dubai or remote support to the surrounding branches.
This role will be focused on revolving issues with software, hardware, systems, devices and other IT-related systems. In addition, this role will be working closely with the IT Manager to ensure the all-IT functions are running smoothly without any down time.
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will have an associate’s Degree or higher in computer science, information technology or any related field. They will be looking for candidates that have a minimum of 3+ years working in a technical support role.
Experience with the following is essential, Apple Products (Mac, iPhone, iOS), Office 365, Microsoft (Windows), Fortinet Systems (Firewall), AV/AS (ESET). This ICT Specialist should also be proactive and have a problem-solving mindset.
Both written and verbal communication skills in English are essential for this role.
