THE ROLE

(Scrum Master with Regulatory & Compliance Transformation experience in Banking domain)

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support our Agile transformation journey, particularly within regulatory and compliance programs. You will work with cross-functional teams to foster Agile principles, facilitate SAFe ceremonies, and ensure that complex regulatory initiatives are delivered efficiently and effectively. This role is instrumental in supporting the bank’s pivot from traditional delivery models to scaled Agile frameworks.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as a Scrum Master for 1–2 Agile teams involved in regulatory and compliance initiatives
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
• Coach team members, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile values, principles, and SAFe practices
• Drive continuous improvement in team velocity, quality, and collaboration
• Ensure sprint deliverables align with regulatory requirements (e.g., AML, Basel III, GDPR, FATCA)
• Collaborate with Release Train Engineers (RTEs), Solution Architects, and Compliance Officers
• Identify and remove impediments that hinder team progress
• Monitor and report on key metrics and regulatory delivery timelines
• Support audit readiness by ensuring compliance documentation and traceability are maintained
• Advocate for a culture of transparency, accountability, and learning

REQUIREMENTS

• BE/BTech candidate with 10+ years of experience as a Scrum master in enterprise environments, preferably in banking or financial services
• Strong understanding of Regulatory and Compliance domains within the financial industry
• Hands-on experience in SAFe Agile (Scaled Agile Framework) implementations
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM I/II) and/or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) certification
• Familiarity with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Rally, or VersionOne
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to operate in a hybrid (Agile-Waterfall) environment and bridge traditional governance with Agile practices

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Exposure to banking regulations and compliance reporting systems
• Experience working with cross-border teams and complex enterprise IT ecosystems
• Background in business analysis or project management is a plus
