Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated QA Engineer with over 6 years of experience in automation, DevOps, and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with tools and technologies including Ansible, Jenkins, MySQL, GIT, Python, Terraform, Selenium, and Laravel. You will work closely with development, operations, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases, infrastructure as code practices, and continuous integration/delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium and Python
• Write and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for both frontend and backend systems (Laravel-based applications)
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Ansible
• Perform database validations and queries using MySQL
• Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to improve test automation coverage and deployment workflows
• Maintain QA documentation and logs, track bugs, and ensure timely resolution
• Monitor production systems and participate in performance testing and system reliability checks
• Ensure security, compliance, and best practices across the QA lifecycle

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 6 years of experience in QA/Automation Engineering
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and QA processes
• Experience in performance testing and test data management is a plus
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills in English (Italian or German is a plus)

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
• ISTQB or equivalent QA certifications
