About the role

We're scaling up and looking for an experienced Team Lead to join our high-performing Engineering team. This is a frontend-leaning or fullstack role—ideally someone who enjoys working in TypeScript/JavaScript and wants at least 40% of their work to involve frontend development.

You'll lead a team of six engineers, guide technical decisions, and help shape major product enhancements. While your focus will be on enabling and supporting your team, you'll also stay hands-on with code—spending about 10-20% of your time actively contributing to implementation and reviews.

About You

• You have 8+ years of software development experience, with a track record of notable achievements
• You have 3+ years of experience leading an engineering team, mentoring developers, and guiding technical decisions
• You have deep expertise in frontend or full-stack development, with TypeScript/JavaScript as a must-have, and experience with modern frameworks like React
• Familiarity with .NET/C# is a bonus, but not essential
• You stay close to the tools—comfortable spending 10-20% of your time hands-on with code and reviews
• You've worked on large-scale, complex software platforms and have experience managing technical debt
• You take a strategic approach to system design, breaking down complex problems while balancing performance, cost, and simplicity
• You think beyond just writing code—you consider the business impact, collaborate with stakeholders, and make smart trade-offs to drive meaningful outcomes
• You're analytical and decisive, using data-driven insights to navigate complexity, make sound judgments under pressure, and clearly communicate your reasoning
• You lead by example, actively contributing to design, implementation, and code reviews to ensure technical excellence
• Your CV is full of achievements you're proud of, and you're always looking for ways to improve and innovate
• You're a clear, concise communicator who values collaboration and constructive discussions
• You're naturally curious, open to experimenting with new ideas, and see failures as opportunities to learn
