They are expanding their Sydney based team and looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong full-stack capabilities to help us deliver a high-performance platform offering used by professionals.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Engineer, you'll join a lean, high-output technical team and work across the stack to build and scale a feature-rich platform. Expect complex, rewarding challenges from geometry engines to UI design and system simulations.

You will:

• Build and scale an innovative platform for building services design
• Lead and contribute to architecture, system design, and roadmap discussions
• Develop high-performance UI interactions for drawing, measuring, and editing building systems
• Implement front-end features involving real-time calculations and responsive visual updates
• Contribute to internal geometry/algorithm libraries (e.g. flow simulation, network validation)
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, and the founding team to turn complexity into simplicity
• Take ownership of full features, back-end to front-end while writing clean, maintainable code

Tech Stack:

They are tech-agnostic where it matters, but their current stack includes:

• TypeScript
• Vue.js
• Node.js
• AWS
• Custom geometry and simulation libraries

They care less about the exact technologies you’ve used and more about your ability to solve complex problems, reason through systems, and write quality code.

Experience required:

Must-haves:

• 5+ years of commercial experience as a full-stack or frontend-focused software engineer
• Strong coding ability with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks (Vue, React, etc.)
• Experience designing and building interactive user interfaces
• Strong fundamentals in computer science, software design, and performance optimisation
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or similar

Bonus points for experience with:

• Geometry-heavy or math-intensive applications (CAD, canvas, OpenGL, simulation, mapping, games, computational design)
• Highly interactive tools, drawing interfaces, or system visualisation
• Leading features in platform-like or marketplace-style environments
• Cloud-native systems or infrastructure (AWS preferred)
• Design tools, construction tech, or related domains
