About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot to join our team supporting a high-profile cybersecurity client. In this role, you'll work on mission-critical systems that demand high availability, scalability, and security. The ideal candidate is a back-end focused engineer with additional exposure to C++ and Qt, which are highly advantageous in this environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based backend services using Spring Boot
• Collaborate with security architects and product teams to ensure secure coding practices
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices
• Contribute to system architecture and design reviews
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and work with microservice-based systems
• Support and troubleshoot production issues in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate across teams, including frontend developers, DevOps, and QA
• If applicable, contribute to components built using C++ and Qt

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java development
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and related frameworks (Spring Data, Spring Security, etc.)
• Experience with REST API design and microservices architecture
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies
• Experience with C++ for systems-level programming is a plus
• Familiarity with Qt for building UI applications is a plus
• Background in cybersecurity, secure communication protocols, or identity/authentication systems
