Freelance Fullstack Developer - Node.js/Oracle

For a customer in Gent, I am searching for a freelance fullstack developer who can support their frontend (Node.js) and backend (Oracle) by bridging the gap between internal systems and customer-facing applications.

The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust integration layers and APIs that ensure seamless data and process flows between the company’s internal platforms and external applications used by brokers, partners, and clients.

The selected consultant will work closely with the internal team, external development team, and stakeholders to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of the integration landscape.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement API integrations between internal and external systems
• Collaborate with internal technical teams and external application owners to gather requirements and align on interface standards
• Ensure secure and efficient data exchange following best practices and compliance guidelines
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and assist with deployment activities
• Contribute to documentation and knowledge transfer for internal stakeholders
• Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues in real time

Profile

• Strong expertise in Node.js for frontend development
• Strong Oracle development experience (Forms, Apex, PL/SQL etc.)
• Familiar with RESTful APIs, authentication standards (OAuth2, JWT), and modern integration patterns
• Autonomous, structured, and solution-oriented
