Role Overview:

As a Software Engineer at MyFarm, you’ll play a crucial role in developing both mobile and web applications that empower users to monitor and manage their smart agriculture setups. You’ll work alongside a talented team to bring real-time data, IoT integration, and a user-friendly experience to iOS, Android, and web platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain MyFarm’s mobile applications on iOS and Android, delivering intuitive interfaces for remote monitoring and automated plant care.

• Build and optimize a responsive web app that syncs seamlessly with MyFarm’s IoT devices, ensuring a consistent user experience across platforms.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features that enhance user experience and increase product efficiency.

• Develop scalable backend services to support user authentication, data analytics, and smart system functionalities.

• Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure high performance and reliability across apps.

• Stay current with industry trends in mobile, web development, and green tech to bring innovative ideas into our digital products.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience in software development, with a focus on mobile (iOS/Android) and web applications.

• Proficiency in mobile development languages and frameworks (Swift, Kotlin, React Native, or Flutter).

• Strong experience with web development technologies (JavaScript, React, or Angular) and backend frameworks.

• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud) and IoT protocols (MQTT, HTTP).

• Experience integrating apps with IoT devices and handling real-time data is a plus.
