Studyclix is a digital product that gives students the tools and resources to reach their full potential in exams.
Role Description
The Motion Graphic Specialist will be responsible for creating engaging educational content and will join our video production team. Your primary role on the team is to design and animate storyboards.
You will bring various educational topics to life through a series of short videos designed to help 12-19 year olds learn the Irish language.
Here is an example of the type of educational video we make in another subject.
This role is suitable for a recent graduate of a visual communications degree.
Required Experience/ Skills
- Relevant degree or certification in Multimedia, Motion Graphics, Graphic Design, or related field
- Experience in creating engaging graphics
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects
- Ability to conceptualise ideas and communicate them visually in a way that is easy for students to grasp and remember
- Knowledge of graphic design principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong work ethic
- Strong time management skills
- Grasp of the Irish language. You do not need to be fluent but you should at least have obtained a pass in Leaving Cert Irish (Higher Level). You will be required to sync some animations with phrases in Irish, so having familiarity with the language will make doing the job a lot easier on you!
Nice to have
- Experience using digital communication tools such as MS Teams/Slack.
- Experience creating educational content

Terms
- This is a 3 month contract role for a specific e-learning project.
- You must be able to provide your own equipment ( suitable laptop + monitor) and workspace.
- Rate of pay: €14 an hour
Interview Process

Stage 1: Phone Interview
- When we receive your cv, If we think you could be a good fit for this role, the hiring manager will contact you and arrange a short phone interview to ensure you understand the role and what you are looking for.
Stage 2: Paid Assignment
- We will invite a limited number of applicants to demonstrate their suitability for the role
- You will be asked to complete a paid assignment. This will be 4-6 hours of work to enable us to determine if you have the skills and aptitude required for this role.
Stage 3: Final Interview over Zoom
- If we feel there is a good fit, we will offer you the opportunity to join our team.
