Role and Responsibilities

• Network installations including Cisco Routers, ASAs, Switches
• Administration and Monitoring of Azure and Hybrid Networking environment
• Some Commercial Azure, Admin, Monitoring is Requires
• Administration of DDoS platform
• Managing the security posture.
• Identifying and remediating vulnerabilities.
• Participating in responding to security incidents.
• Using networking and virtualization to improve cybersecurity measures.
• Taking part in the design of new technology.
• Keeping up-to-date with recent developments in networking technology.

What you need:

• Experience in enterprise networking, on-premises or cloud infrastructure, and network security.
• Commercial Azure experience is essential.
• Understanding of on-premises virtualization technologies, including: VMs and virtual networking.
• Working in a Cloud Environment is essential
• Practical experience in administration of Microsoft Azure and hybrid environments.
• The role will probably be around 20 – 30% on Prem
• Strong familiarity with compute, network, and storage in Azure.
• Ability to work with architects, administrators, and developers to plan and implement solutions that meet security and compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of a variety of cisco networking technologies, including IP routing, switching, and wireless access points.
• Familiar with remote access tools, user VPNs, MFA.
• Experience with network installations including Cisco Routers, ASAs, Switches
• Good communication skills.
• Familiar with DDoS, WAF protections
• Ability to work in a team to implement and support networks and end-users.
• CCNA or CCNP Certification would be an advantage
• There will be an on – call aspect to the role. 1 week in 3 will be on call – After the probationary period with days in lieu and with on call allowances.
