Lead Mechanical Engineer


As a Lead Mechanical Engineer at Edge Autonomy, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with cross-functional teams, designing advanced electro-mechanical systems, research on latest technologies, and developing best in class performance optoelectronic payloads. You will manage the Optronics R&D mechanical engineering team and contribute to both new and existing product designs.


Responsibilities:

Lead the Optronics R&D engineering team and plan work schedules.

Research, conceptualize, and develop new designs.

Support and improve existing product designs.

Develop CAD and manufacturing documentation with appropriate tolerances.

Assist the engineering team in structural analysis, motion studies, interference analysis, and fluid simulation.


Qualifications:

Proven experience in mechanical engineering and product development.

Proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing documentation.

Strong understanding of structural analysis, motion studies, interference analysis, and fluid simulation.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering in or a related field;

Proficient good knowledge of English.
