Contract Frontend Engineer –
Location: 2x Days per week Utrecht

About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled Frontend Software Engineer to join a high-impact team responsible for one of the most critical areas of a large-scale eCommerce platform: the Product Page and related customer-facing features such as wish lists, image galleries, and review displays.
What You’ll Do
- Build and enhance frontend components for the Product Page and related features
- Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, analysts, and other frontend engineers
- Contribute to the ongoing migration to a modern tech stack (React, Remix, Tailwind)
- Monitor and analyse frontend performance using modern observability tools
- Participate in agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, retrospectives, etc.)
Tech Stack
You’ll be working with a modern JavaScript/TypeScript stack, including:
- React, Remix, Node.js
- TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Sass, HTML5
- GraphQL for data fetching
- CI/CD tools and practices
