AI/ML Engineer Trainee
Job Description

At GSD Remote Integration Team, we drive technology leadership by developing and bringing innovative concepts to industry and standards organizations, shaping ecosystems to ensure an inventor-friendly environment. Working with the Remote Integration, you'll play a crucial role in our Digitalization/Automation team, improving efficiency for RI scopes that are providing remote support in multiple customers in different Markets.

Position: Internship

Duration: 12 months

Start date (tentative): June, 2025

Location: Hybrid in Amadora, Portugal

Education Recommendations: Currently a candidate finishing their BSc or MSc degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with an accredited school

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

  • Define and articulate how AI/ML solutions can address specific challenges.
  • Identify and gather relevant datasets for training and testing models.
  • Clean and preprocess data to ensure it's suitable for machine learning algorithms.
  • Choose appropriate machine learning algorithms based on the problem at hand.
  • Develop, train, and optimize ML models.
  • Extract and create relevant features from raw data to improve model performance.
  • Transform data to highlight patterns and relationships.

Key Skills And Experience

  • Statistical Analysis.
  • Programming Language - Python.
  • Data Modeling - Normalization / De-normalization.
  • Machine Learning Libraries/ Algorithms.
