Chief Information Security Officer

About the role:

We are seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead our information security strategy, ensuring the protection of both IT and Operational Technology (OT) infrastructures. This role is pivotal in optimizing information security, countering cyber threats, and enhancing system resilience. As a key figure in IT Security, you'll have the opportunity to advance your career within an innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive information security policy.
• Identify and manage information security risks.
• Lead the corporate IT security team and coordinate security experts within R&D.
• Oversee the implementation of technical, administrative, and physical security measures.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including GDPR, NIS2, and ISO 27001.
• Advise executive management on security issues and risks.
• Coordinate incident response and recovery following security incidents or data breaches.
• Conduct or commission audits, risk analyses, and penetration tests.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as auditors, regulators, and partners.
• Enhance information security awareness across the organization.

Qualifications:

• A completed Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in information security, IT risk management, or compliance.
• Proven knowledge and experience with security frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls.
• Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations such as GDPR, NIS2, and AVG.
• Possession of certifications such as CISM, CISSP, CEH, or CISA.
• Experience with OT security in a production environment.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
