Purpose of Role: As a talented and motivated Data Scientist within our Digital R&D team you analyze complex data sets, develop predictive models, and extract actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. You work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, design data-driven solutions, and communicate findings effectively, tailored to your audience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, train, validate, and refine differentiable, physics-based predictive models using ML and statistical methods, including hyperparameter tuning.
• Develop algorithms for multi-objective process optimization that can suggest equipment parameters in real time
• Use tools like JAX to build gradient-aware state-space models that are efficient and interpretable
• Collaborate with process engineers and domain experts to encode constraints, objectives, and real-world feasibility into model logic

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics or related field
• Experience in building and optimizing supervised and unsupervised machine learning models
• Experience in applying Machine Learning to physical systems
• Familiarity with scripting languages (JavaScript, Node.js, Python. Etc.).
