Cloud Solution Architect

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Cloud Solution Architect to design, present, and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures using Microsoft Azure. This role bridges the gap between technical and business teams, ensuring customer success throughout the sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities

Presales & Customer Engagement

• Lead presales engagements as an Azure SME, translating customer needs into scalable cloud solutions
• Conduct architectural design sessions, technical workshops, and PoC demonstrations
• Work closely with sales teams to drive strategic opportunities
• Present complex technical solutions to C-level executives & IT leaders
• Prepare and deliver solution presentations, demos, RFIs, and RFPs

Solution Architecture & Design

• Apply Azure Well-Architected Framework & Cloud Adoption Framework
• Develop detailed architectural blueprints & documentation
• Design secure, scalable, high-performance Azure infrastructure (compute, storage, networking, security)
• Align cloud strategies with business transformation goals

Technical Leadership & Collaboration

• Work with Product Management & Managed Services to refine Azure offerings
• Support cloud migration and modernization projects
• Evangelize Azure solutions across sales, product, and services teams
• Assess customer cloud readiness & knowledge during engagements

Infrastructure Specialization

• Design & implement Azure IaaS solutions (VNet, ExpressRoute, VM, Load Balancers, AAD)
• Deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform, ARM, Bicep
• Ensure security & compliance best practices

What You Need to Succeed

Experience & Technical Expertise

• 10+ years in solutions architecture, IT infrastructure, or cloud engineering
• Strong expertise in Azure IaaS, networking, security & automation
• Experience in customer-facing presales roles engaging with executives
• Proficiency in Azure networking (VNet, ExpressRoute, VPNs), security, & hybrid architectures
• Hands-on experience with IaC (Terraform, ARM, Bicep)

Certifications & Skills

• Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert (preferred)
• Strong presentation, communication & consultative selling skills
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business value
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines & containerization (Kubernetes, Docker)
