Security Lead – Fixed Term Contract

Location: Oslo, Norway (100% Onsite no hybrid or remote options)

Contract: 12 Months Fixed Term (potential for renewal/ extension)

We’re looking for a Security Lead to join our client a Global Consultancy onsite in Oslow , where you'll play a key role in safeguarding critical infrastructure, systems, and data. This is a high-impact position with full on-site presence, where your leadership will help shape the organization’s security roadmap and maturity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily security operations, incident response, and threat mitigation
• Align security strategy with broader IT and business goals
• Define and enforce robust security policies, procedures, and frameworks
• Oversee services such as Vulnerability Management, PKI, Risk & Network Security
• Ensure compliance with ISO27001, NIST, GDPR, and other frameworks
• Drive cloud security across Azure, AWS, and GCP environments
• Lead security audits, awareness training, and governance reporting
• Mentor and guide the internal security team

What We’re Looking For:

• 10–12 years in IT Security, including 3+ years in a leadership role
• Strong technical grasp on Endpoint Security (Defender), Risk & Vulnerability Management
• Solid experience with Cloud Security (Azure/AWS)
• Strong understanding of security standards and frameworks (ISO27001, NIST, GDPR)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Relevant certifications such as AZ-500, CISM, or equivalent highly desirable
