Senior Frontend Engineer - AI-Powered Manufacturing Optimization

Weâre looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to own and elevate our web experience. Youâll work closely with our full stack team to improve the frontend architecture, developer experience, and UI component designâempowering others to build faster and better. Youâll have the autonomy to make technical decisions and the runway to grow into a product-defining leadership role.

Weâre looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to own and elevate our web experience. Youâll work closely with our full stack team to improve the frontend architecture, developer experience, and UI component designâempowering others to build faster and better. Youâll have the autonomy to make technical decisions and the runway to grow into a product-defining leadership role.
đ§ What Youâll Do
- Own the frontend architecture and roadmap
- Build scalable, reusable components using React and TypeScript
- Improve developer experience for full stack engineers
- Collaborate with product, backend, and design to ship high-impact features
- Set coding standards, enforce best practices, and introduce new tooling (e.g., testing, linting, component libraries)
- Guide technical decisions around performance, UX, accessibility, and scalability
- Serve as the go-to frontend expert and mentor other devs as needed
- 5+ years of experience in modern frontend development (React, TypeScript, HTML/CSS)
- Proven track record of leading architecture or taking ownership of major frontend systems
- Strong sense of product ownership and developer empathy
- Comfortable working with Git, CI/CD, and collaborating with backend APIs (REST or Python-based)
- Bonus: familiarity with Python, PostgreSQL, or AWS
- Experience introducing or managing a design system
- Exposure to backend tools (e.g., Flask, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy)
- Experience building tools that improve developer productivity
- Startup experience or experience with real-world industrial/engineering applications
- Work with a world-class team of 6+ engineers
- Hybrid: 2 days/week in Toronto office

- $170,000-200,000 CAD + meaningful equity
