The Role:We’re looking for a Full Stack Engineer with 5+ years of experience to take ownership of end-to-end project development, building critical systems that drive our performance in fast paced global markets for a diverse group of internal customers.

Responsibilities: Own and Build High-Impact Trading Technology

  • Own End-to-End Delivery: Architect, build, test, and deploy robust full stack applications essential to our operations, taking projects from concept through production.
  • Create Essential Tools: develop performant trading UIs, real-time PnL/risk monitoring dashboards, data visualization tools, and more. Your work directly supports our traders, researchers, operations, compliance and the broader business.
  • Collaborate & Solve: Partner with experienced colleagues to design and implement elegant, effective, and impactful solutions.
  • Uphold Quality: Champion and implement engineering best practices (testing, CI/CD, monitoring, etc).
  • Drive Our Mission: Directly impact our success and help us provide market liquidity intelligently.

You Bring: Technical Skill, Collaboration, and Drive

  • Education:
    • BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience demonstrating strong technical foundations.
  • Skills:
    • Full Stack Proficiency: Strong command of Python (backend) and Typescript (frontend - React/Angular), coupled with experience using modern databases.
    • Problem-Solving & CS Fundamentals: Excellent analytical skills with a deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
  • Experience:
    • Proven Track Record: 5+ years of professional experience building complex, full-stack applications.
    • Domain Interest (Bonus): Passion for or experience with trading and capital markets is a plus.
  • Professional Acumen:
    • Product Focus: Passion for building high-quality tools that empower users and deliver exceptional experiences.
    • Ownership & Accountability: Proactive approach, takes full ownership of work, and thrives in dynamic environments.

We Offer:The Base Salary Range is $150,000 - $200,000. These ranges are representative of the starting base salaries for this role at Summit Securities Group. Which range a candidate fits into and where a candidate falls in the range will be based on job related factors such as relevant experience, skills, and location. These ranges represent Base Salary only, which is just one element of our total compensation. The ranges stated do not include other factors of total compensation such as bonuses.
