About The Position

Jeenie® is seeking a forward-thinking, passionate Software Engineer to join its engineering department. The ideal candidate has strong technical and analytical capabilities, along with extensive experience in web app development with Vue.js. You will be an integral part of the Jeenie Engineering Team, collaborating across the company to drive impact and growth, while helping to grow the Engineering team.

About Success In The Position

Some of the main initiatives you’ll be part of:

• Playing an active and strategic role in architecting and implementing core product web application features
• Collaborating with Product Owners and UI Designers to refine User Stories with proper acceptance criteria
• Working on an Agile / Kanban team alongside platform engineers and front end web engineers
• Integrating mobile features through RESTful server APIs
• Implementing best practices around testing and documentation
• Mentoring junior developers
  
  

About You

Here’s what we believe our best applicants bring with them into the role:

• Bachelors in Computer Science or related field and 5+ years software engineering experience required
• 3+ years experience building non-trivial web user experiences with Vue.js, Vuetify, Typescript, Node.js and Github
• Experience with platform services, databases/data pipelines and API's
• Good understanding of architectural design principles in web application development
• Experience integrating web applications with RESTful server APIs which support a variety of frontend clients (web, mobile, etc)
• Extensive experience with test-driven development, behavior-driven development, and good intuitions on which approaches work best in multiple situations
• Experience working with UI/UX Designers

• Experience with mobile tools like React Native
• Front End Test frameworks like Cypress or Playwright
