Business Analyst

We are looking for a skilled, driven and talented business analyst to develop and support various innovative and fast-growing Big Data products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for solving complex data-intensive business problems in a dynamic environment for various customers by leveraging specialized tools and techniques for Big Data analysis and modelling.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Big Data solutions, focusing on system integrations for seamless data exchange via APIs, batch files, and other methods, supporting triggers, dashboards, and digital funnels

• Identify business needs and objectives to align solutions with organizational goals.

• Conduct comprehensive reviews of business processes, document existing workflows, and propose workflow modifications for future improvements

• Write and refine user stories, define acceptance criteria, and prepare formal requirements for cross-organizational projects

• Evaluate and integrate data from multiple sources

• Design and document data flows and data mappings

• Manage company’s datasets in Big Data environments

• Aggregate and transform data to meet the needs of efficient data processing

• Address user questions and issues related to the data management platform

• Evaluate and improve business analysis processes

• Mentor and support other analysts. Organize knowledge sharing and training sessions for other analysts

Requirements:

• 4+ years as Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Data Engineer or relevant experience

• Strong business value orientation

• The ability to write clear requirements and specifications

• Experience in database technologies with solid understanding and hands-on skills with SQL/Advance SQL/Hive/ETL/Kafka. Spark, Python knowledge would be a plus

• Experience building large scale datasets in Hadoop, AWS, Azure or similar big data environments

• Understanding of structured, semi structured and unstructured datasets

• Should have worked on end-to-end solution development

• Need to have understanding of data pipeline building

• Previous Telecom experience and familiarity with BSS, OSS and Service Fulfilment functions would be a plus
