Role: .Net API Developer

Location: Sydney/Melbourne

Experience: 7+yrs

Technologies & Tools - Must have 

• C# and .Net Core using C# 
• Restful services and Web API (ASP .NET CORE) 
• Entity Framework Core (Code First approach) 
• Good knowledge and experience on use of good design patterns and SOLID principles. 
• Experience with unit test and mocking frameworks: xUnit or NUnit or MSTEST and MOQ. 
• Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server and creating Store Procedures

Qualifications, Training and Experience 

• 7+ years of experience in software development and 5+ years in REST API and integration 
• Evidence in the successful delivery of .Net core API, hence undertaking system analysis, solution (functional & Technical) design and feasibility activities. 
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure Platform. Especially Azure Service Bus, Azure Data Factory and Azure Functions 
• Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server and creating Store Procedures 
• Experience with Entity Framework Core (Code First). Mandatory 
• Experience in working with containerize environment 
• Experience in monitoring and supporting complex enterprise applications. 
• Good understanding and experience in implementing testable software using best practices and design patterns, hence developing high-quality code and regression tests that leverage existing code libraries, patterns and architectural techniques. 
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. 
• Experience in unit testing, Mocking Frameworks, and DI using design patterns, hence comfortable with ambiguity and can push forward with unproven ideas. 
• A positive and supportive individual with a can-do attitude and the ability to see the bigger picture 

Preferred 

• Working knowledge of Swagger file generation and Postman Tool 
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure Platform. Especially Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Hub and Azure Functions 
• MS Visual Studio 2015+ and the latest and VSTS Git for source control. 
• Experience in working with containerize environment 
• Experience in monitoring and supporting complex enterprise applications. 
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
