Join the Platforms, Infrastructure & Environments team of a high-tech company in the semiconductor industry and be an important part of the design and evolution of our software architecture, ensuring our overall technical excellence. Your work will be of crucial importance for production and be used in state-of-the-art semiconductor fabs around the world.

Your Responsibilities

  • Extend our database and automation platform, built with Kafka, PostgreSQL, Python, and Vue
  • Implement new features (e.g. workflow-automation, user interface, data analysis) together with a motivated team, guided by a software architect
  • Collaborate with different teams to gather requirements and refine solutions
  • Work with a team of DevOps and software engineers to deliver solutions internal stakeholders
  • Evaluate mission-critical test-data from our international customers

Your Qualifications

  • Formal computer science education or comparable practical experience
  • Three or more years of professional experience as a software engineer
  • Profound knowledge of Python (3.x), SQL, and modern web technologies (Vue, React, Typescript, Node.js)
  • Practical experience with enterprise software development tools (git, CI/CD, Kibana)
  • Experience of or interest in the following advanced concepts: Apache Kafka, containerization (Docker) and virtualization (Virtual Box), ERP, Event Driven Architectures, GitLab CI, Gerrit, PostgreSQL, Process Modelling
  • Ability to design software with a focus on robustness and low maintenance
  • Accurate, independent and structured working approach
  • Confidence to face challenges and ability to solve problems independently
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Very good command of spoken and written English
