Onsite Support Engineer
📍 Location: Cork, Ireland (5 Days Onsite)
🕒 Full-Time | Immediate Start Preferred
We are looking for an experienced Onsite Support Engineer to join our growing team in Cork. This role requires you to be on-site five days per week, providing high-quality technical support to employees and contractors. You'll be the face of IT support — troubleshooting, resolving, and escalating issues while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide in-person technical support to employees and contractors.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues across macOS, iOS, and other supported platforms.
- Diagnose and resolve network-related issues at a basic level (IP, connectivity).
- Document incidents, resolutions, and troubleshooting steps using internal ticketing systems.
- Manage support cases from initial contact through to final resolution, escalating when required.
- Ensure compliance with client policies and service-level expectations.
- Collaborate with remote teams to ensure seamless IT support delivery.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism and customer service at all times.
What You’ll Bring
- 2+ years in an IT support or helpdesk role, ideally in an enterprise environment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills — both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; able to resolve issues without relying on scripts.
- Practical experience supporting macOS and iOS devices (Apple certifications are a plus).
- Familiarity with IT ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk).
- Good understanding of IP networking and client-side connectivity troubleshooting.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Flexible and proactive mindset, with a positive attitude toward change.
- A team player who can work independently when required.
