The Agile Coach is expected to partner with, challenge and support our customer's wider Tech delivery function, including Portfolio, Senior Delivery Management, Product ownership and Business Analysis team.


Please note this role operates in a hybrid model with candidates expected to be able and willing to work from our customer's Dublin office once or twice per week.


Required skills:



  • Must understand modern Agile methods well. These methods should work with new technologies and be proven in successful tech companies. Should be able to guide stakeholders and teams to embrace Agile methods in a complex delivery organisation. This experience is to be demonstrated in at least five years of working in similar environments

  • Proven experience and knowledge of successfully implementing and enhancing an agile framework for a complex technical delivery organisation

  • Knowledge and experience with agile practices of Continuous Integration, Continuous Build and Continuous Deployment Practice, Tools and trends. Experience in supporting the integration and embedding of these practices is essential

  • Experience in successfully leading functional areas of multiple agile teams

  • Proven experience engaging in strategic planning with business and IT stakeholders, to provide direction, guidance or recommendations around agile processes and improvements

  • Be able to apply broad business and technology knowledge of internal and external trends and capabilities to ensure the successful implementation of all agile practices and roles

  • Proven ability to work successfully under strain and commitment to producing high-quality output to tight deadlines

  • Exemplary communication and documentation skills with the ability to present facts, plans and training clearly and objectively

  • Robust interpersonal skills with the ability to manage effective working relationships at all levels, both internally and externally

  • Proven ability to implement change management and build solid relationships

  • Scaled Agile Programme Consultant (SPC) or similar

  • Self-motivated with a high level of effort, hands-on approach (roll up sleeves), commitment and flexibility

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken


Key responsibilities & duties include:


Delivery Framework Responsibilities:



  • Act as the primary point of contact for the delivery framework, helping to shape and structure the overall delivery model. Improve workflows to drive more efficient results, engage key stakeholders, run workshops, understand platform configurations, and assess the impact of reporting outputs.

  • Lead the continuous improvement of the delivery approach to enable faster, more consistent, scalable digital solutions. Collaborate with teams to resolve exceptions and ensure process alignment.

  • Maintain all supporting documentation related to the delivery model, including creating and updating training materials.

  • Deliver relevant training to new team members as part of onboarding, and keep wider delivery teams informed of any framework updates or changes.

  • Evaluate and improve key performance indicators to ensure they align with the overall vision and support measurable progress.

  • Review current governance practices and recommend enhancements for better oversight and efficiency.


Supporting Delivery Teams:



  • Creation of reports and dashboards to support the delivery teams, including financial reporting

  • Onboarding of new team members into the delivery team to ensure a consistent approach

  • Act as the Jira admin for the team, setting up new users and ability to troubleshoot issues with relevant in-house experts

  • Chair and facilitator of the DM forum (gathering of agenda items, co-ordination of topics and associated presenters, meeting notes, assigning actions items and associated follow up

  • Owner of distribution lists in all communication channels such as email, MS Teams, Confluence, SharePoint etc


Desirable skills & competencies:



  • Strong user of Atlassian Suite Tools, especially JIRA and Confluence, Tempo

  • Accredited Agile Coach

  • Project/Programme Management qualification – e.g. PMP, Prince 2
