Lead Java Developer

Your expertise:

• At least 8 years of Java experience, JDK 8+.
• Good understanding of common design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Thorough knowledge of Java frameworks: Spring Core (Java & XML configuration, Dependency Injection), Spring Boot, Spring MVC, REST, Hibernate, SQL
• Build tools – Maven / Gradle
• Java web servers – Tomcat / Jetty
• Jenkins and a basic understanding of the CI process
• Version control – GIT (preferred) / SVN
• Good written and spoken English communication skills (communication with international clients and colleagues).
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Proven experience in leading development teams or mentoring other engineers.
• Experience with public speaking (conferences, meetups) or writing technical thought leadership pieces (blog posts, whitepapers).

Considered an advantage:

• Knowledge of data analysis methodologies.
• Experience in SQL query profiling and optimization.
• Experience in multithreading programming.
• Experience in writing shell scripts.
• Experience working with AWS cloud services

Responsibilities:

• Development and support of existing and new internal system integration solutions.
• Decision-making on solution architecture.
• Implementation of unit and integration tests.
• Investigation of production incidents.
• Provide work estimates and participate in sprint planning.
• Ensure code quality and performance by utilizing best practices
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other developers.
• Design and implement new features and improve existing functionality to meet business requirements.
• Participate in all phases of the software delivery lifecycle, from analysis through deployment and ongoing support.
