What You Will Do
As an intern working on the Airport Intelligence Dashboard, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of NACO. Your responsibilities will include:
- Dashboard Development: Assist in designing and developing a comprehensive dashboard that facilitates decision-making by providing real-time and historical data, as well as future insights of airport projects.
- Automation and Integration: Ensure the dashboard is mostly automated and updated with data from internal systems such as ABW and CRM, reducing manual input and increasing efficiency.
- Customization: Tailor the dashboard to meet the specific needs of the business, ensuring it aligns with operational goals and requirements.
- Data Quality Assurance: Emphasize the importance of data quality and accuracy, recognizing that the effectiveness of the dashboard depends on the contributions of all team members.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed (automated) reports and presentations based on your findings to support decision-making processes.
- Innovation: Contribute innovative ideas to improve the functionality and user experience of the dashboard.

What You Bring
You are a Bsc or Msc student with a strong background in data analysis and report automation, with a passion for aviation. You are skilled in solving technical issues, maintaining dashboards, and leveraging your aviation knowledge to enhance data-driven insights.
- Proficient in PowerBI (technical level)
- Understanding of data mining, databases
- Proficient in Excel (i.e. macros)
- Automation of reporting
- Having programming skills, especially in Python, is a plus.
You’ll work alongside enthusiastic and seasoned professionals in the field. The internship runs from February to August 2025 (flexible), with the possibility of extension. You'll have the flexibility to work hybrid, allowing you to choose between the NACO office in The Hague (and later our new office in Delft), as well as our offices in Amersfoort, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht or Nijmegen and combine that with working from home.
We prioritize a healthy work-life balance and offer a monthly stipend of €550, along with 10 leave days for full-time interns. While we prefer full-time interns, part-time opportunities are also available. Additionally, we provide university feedback and evaluation to support your personal and professional development.
