Senior React Front-end Developer / Freelance / Lisbon

Job Summary

As a Senior React Front-end Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality front-end solutions for B2B and wholesale applications. Your role involves creating user-friendly interfaces, optimizing performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

Develop and maintain front-end components using React.js. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement intuitive and responsive designs. Optimize application performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility. Integrate front-end components with back-end services and APIs. Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers. Stay updated with the latest front-end technologies and best practices.

Required Skills & Competencies

Proficiency in React.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX). Strong understanding of responsive design and web performance optimization. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Experience in Agile development methodologies.

Project & Team Environment

Work within a collaborative team of 8-12 developers, designers, and product managers. Agile development environment with regular sprints and stand-ups. To support this product, we’re actively looking for a full-time Senior .NET Back-end Developer and a full-time Senior React Front-end Developer, starting between 01/06/2025 and 01/07/2025 working on both the maintenance and the evolution of the two Products, BiCePS and Wholesale Extranet. This is a position within the Product team but needs could be revised every fiscal quarter.

This resource must be in Lisbon onsite with 3 days of physical presence per week. Limited travel in Europe may occur. Profile with a seniority Level 2 minimum (+4 years of experience).

Start date: 1st June

Duration: 3 month freelance contract

Location: Lisbon (on-site 3 days a week, remote for 2)
