ML engineer / Data Science Python Developer

Below is the narrow down what customer is looking for:

looking for 3 things in order of priority:

1. Somebody that is good at code refactoring, standardization, and code optimization.
2. Strong in Python and able extend internal Python libraries.
3. Strong computer science background or experience.
4. Able to standardize Data Eng. Pipelines.
5. Experience in Data Eng best practices and tools.
6. Experience with SQL; Pyspark.
7. Experience to Deploy ML models in production.
8. Machine Learning / Data Science basic knowledge.
9. Experience Deploying models in production.

What customer not looking for:

1. Data Scientist that created models using Python libraries but with limited Python experience. – Customer have some team members with this profile.
2. Data Scientist with LLM/GenAI experience or Image processing/models. It is very different of what customer do and is an experience that won't help.

In this role, you will:

1. Improve our internal Python library used for model deployments by adding new features, cleaning up code, optimizing performance, and expanding unit testing.
2. Develop our Optimization Library from a proof of concept to a fully standardized tool for deploying optimization.
3. Standardize and streamline the data pipelines used for our forecast models.
