Job Description

As the Director of Analytics, you will play a critical role in driving the development, execution, and optimization of analytics strategies that empower data-driven decision-making across the organization. This leadership position requires a blend of strategic vision, technical expertise, and excellent team management to foster growth, collaboration, and innovation within the analytics team.

Responsibilities

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in data analytics, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
    • Proven experience leading and mentoring teams of analytics professionals across different geographies, preferably in the EMEA region.
    • Experience in analytics development, data modeling, and data visualization tools (e.g., Oracle Analytics Cloud, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Python, R).
    • Strong understanding of cloud-based data platforms and technologies (e.g., OCI, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
    • Experience with advanced analytics techniques (e.g., predictive modeling, machine learning, statistical analysis) is a plus.
    • Formal training in a quantitative field, such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Economics is a plus.
  • Leadership & Management Skills:
    • Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development, coaching, and mentoring.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
    • Proven track record of driving analytics excellence and aligning analytics teams with business goals.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Expertise in data analysis, SQL, and statistical tools.
    • Hands-on experience with data visualization and reporting tools.
    • Familiarity with data engineering processes, data warehousing, and ETL pipelines.
    • Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira project management tools is a plus.
