Contechs is recruiting on behalf of our high profile Automotive customer based in Gothenburg, Sweden. They are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join their team in Lindholmen who works with teams and stakeholders all over the world

Description of the assignment

We're on the look-out for a curious, driven, and hands-on Cybersecurity Engineer who's passionate about keeping connected vehicles secure - from bumper to cloud.

Join our SW & Electronics Platform team - the masterminds behind the electrical brains of next-gen vehicles. Within our Secure Platform group, you'll focus on making sure our cars stay one step ahead of cyber threats, both inside the vehicle and out in the digital world.

• Lead TARAs (Threat Analysis and Risk Assessments) - basically spotting digital boogeymen before they strike
• Create security concepts and help bake cybersecurity into every stage of development
• Team up with suppliers in joint cybersecurity reviews - play nice, ask the tough questions
• Support V&V (Verification & Validation) efforts - test it till you trust it
• Spread the cybersecurity gospel across teams and help boost awareness
• You get to work on advanced automotive tech
• Your work directly impacts the safety and security of real people on real roads

Qualifications and skills required for the role

• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in automotive cybersecurity
• Solid grip on TARA, cybersecurity frameworks, and threat modeling
• Bonus points if you've worked with vehicle electrical systems or embedded software
• You speak CAN, LIN, or Ethernet? Even better.
• Background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or IT (B.Sc. or M.Sc.)

• The assignment will take place in Gothenburg and we have an 'office first' environment with some flexibility to work from home
• Travel may be needed (approx. 2-3 trips per year).
• Everyone in our team has a high level of responsibility and mandate and is expected to be able to work autonomously.
• Fluent in English, spoken and written
