Job Summary

Avid Technology is looking for a Front-End Developer to join our Technology team. You will be focused on plans, designs, develops and tests software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products and provide continuous process improvements.

This role is based Bergen – Hybrid.

Tech stack:

We work with mobile, web, and backend services, with a focus on modern user interfaces. Our core stack is use Angular on web, Ionic on mobile, and .NET on backend.

Responsibilities:

• Plans, designs, develops and tests software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products
• Development of the front end code for Avid's next-generation for iNews
• Development of frontend infrastructure, including both the creation of new services and the maintenance of existing solutions.
• Follow a scrum-based agile process, with two-week sprints.
• Refining business requirements into well-defined development tasks.
  
  
  

Qualifications/ skills:

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering or Math
• Skilled Angular developer with a sense of good application architecture and at least 3 years of experience
• Experience with Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Typescript and unit testing
• Experience with cloud-based solutions, preferably on AWS
• Working knowledge of git
• Good communication skills in English
