Job Title: Full Stack Engineer

Location: Newark, CA/travel

Duration: 3 months+ with possible extension

40 hours/week.

Description

Full Stack Engineer to assist our client with a new buildout of an old platform.

Design, implement, and manage Okta integrations (SSO, SCIM, OAuth/OIDC) for user authentication and access management across a cloud-native platform.
Lead end-to-end implementation of user provisioning, de-provisioning, and role-based access control (RBAC) across multiple microservices.
Collaborate with backend (NestJS, AWS) and frontend (React) teams to ensure seamless, secure identity flows.
Build and maintain reusable, testable, and scalable code across services and interfaces.
Troubleshoot integration issues and own the Okta roadmap within the application architecture.

Qualifications

Full-stack development experience (JavaScript/TypeScript),
Hands-on experience with Okta integration (SSO, SCIM, OIDC/OAuth).
Strong backend development experience with NestJS, Node.js, and AWS Microservices (Lambda, API Gateway, Cognito optional).
Frontend proficiency with React (Hooks, Context API, functional components).
Experience with infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and secure API development.
Familiarity with IAM best practices, RBAC/ABAC models, and security protocols.
