Job Summary (Java Developer – Washington, DC, Hybrid)
- Develop, test, and maintain Java applications using Spring Framework (Spring Boot, MVC, Data, Security) with core concepts like IoC, DI, and AOP.
- Utilize Python web frameworks (Django, Flask, FastAPI) and scripting for automation and data processing tasks.
- Work with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORMs (Hibernate, Spring Data JPA, Django ORM, SQLAlchemy).
- Design, develop, and document RESTful APIs.
- Use version control systems (Git) and manage CI/CD pipelines.
- Build and leverage AI agents using Large Language Models (LLM).
- Apply Spring-like IoC and DI concepts in Python applications.
- Integrate Java and Python using tools such as Py4J, JPype, or Jython.
- Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understand and implement microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
- (Preferred) Contribute to full-stack development using front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Ensure secure coding practices and application security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.
